When fitting a new wooden floor an expansion gap must be provided to allow seasonal movements, this gap is hidden in mainly 2 ways. Removal of skirting board, install the new wood floor and refit the original skirting board to hide this expansion gap. Option 2 is to fit colour coordinating beading which is secured to the existing skirting board and not the floor.

Expertly fitted around bottom of radiator pipes and fireplaces. Door adjusting / planed for increased floor height if needed. Old floor coverings removed and disposed of, if required for a fee.
